ADC series offer low-voltage differential signaling outputs

Linear Technology has introduced a series of dual and single high IF sampling 14bit, 170, 210 and 250Msps (Mega-Samples per second) ADCs that maintain good SFDR (spurious-free dynamic range) performance at input frequencies up to 900MHz. The LTC2152-14 and LTC2157-14 ADCs offer double data rate low-voltage differential signaling digital outputs.. The LTC2157-14 operates from a single 1.8V supply and consumes 303mW per channel at 250Msps. It offers signal to noise ratio performance of 70dB and SFDR of 90dB at baseband with a 1.5Vp-p input range. Pin-compatible speed grade options include 170 and 210Msps in 14 and 12bit resolutions. Analog power bandwidth of 1.25GHz and ultra-low jitter of 0.15psRMS enables undersampling of IF frequencies with good noise performance. Available in 9x9 and 6x6mm QFN packages, the ADCs are offered in commercial or industrial temperature grades.
