Vishay Intertechnology's PLT series of precision low-TCR (temperature coefficient of resistor) thin film resistors feature tolerances down to ±0.01%. The thin film resistors have a TCR of ±5ppm/°C over a temperature range from -55 to +125°C. With stable film and performance characteristics of 500ppm at 70°C for 10,000h, the resistors are optimised for high-precision applications in industrial, telecomms, medical imaging, test and measurement, and military and aerospace equipment and instrumentation.
Offered in 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes, the resistors have a resistance range from 250Ω to 100kΩ. They feature low noise of less than -30dB, low voltage coefficients of 0.1ppm/V, and power ratings from 150 to 400mW at 70°C. The thin film resistors feature an anti-corrosion film with special passivation method. Available with lead-free or lead terminations, the resistors are compliant with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, halogen-free according to IEC 61249-2-21, and flame-resistant in accordance to UL 94 V-0 specifications.
