Positronic's high density rectangular series offer industrial performance and conformance to MIL-C-28748 and MIL-DTL-28748 specifications, with size 22 contacts in density contact configurations from 4 to 104 contacts. The rectangular range composed of SGM, SGMC, and SMPL series, feature PosiBand contact technology. According to the company, the design is robust than legacy split tine female contacts. According to the company, the PosiBand is a closed entry female contact system that provides a low contact resistance of 0.004Ω, in addition to offering high current ratings. Crimp termination contacts require no annealing of the crimp barrels, and avoid unintentional heat-treating of the mating end, which can cause electrical failure.
