Laird Technologies has released the WPD136M6C-001 full spectrum, multi-band mobile antenna that is specifically used as a public safety voice and data communications antenna. The mobile antenna operates in three different bands, namely 136 to 174, 380 to 520, and 760 to 870MHz. It offers good RF performance and features an omnidirectional pattern that is VPOL (vertically polarised) with a 50Ω match. VPOL minimises the reception of interfering horizontally polarised ultra-high frequency and very high frequency signals that are common in densely populated areas. The antenna also has a maximum power rating of 100W with a push-to-talk of 30min.
