DACs with 4.4µs settling time suit automotive test equipment applications

The LTC2632 and LTC2633 DACs from Linear Technology are suitable for industrial, automotive, portable communications and automotive test equipment applications. The dual 12, 10, and 8bit rail-to-rail DACs feature serial peripheral interface for the LTC2632 series and I2C interface for LTC2633 series. The DACs feature a small solution size, making them suitable for trimming applications. They offer good DC performance with a 12bit INL of ±1 least significant bit, ±5mV offset error and ±0.8% FSR gain error. The DACs also deliver a settling time of 4.4µs and a glitch impulse of 2.8nV/s. Each dual DAC integrates a 10ppm/°C reference into a eight-lead 3x3mm TSOT-23 package.


The DACs feature a full-scale output range of 2.5V (-L) or 4.096V (-H) making them suitable for 3 or 5V systems. They also offer zero or mid-scale power-on reset options. The LTC2633-L also offers a high impedance output option, making it suitable for power supply margining applications.
