Sensortechnics' HCLA pressure sensors measure ultra-low gage or differential pressures from 2.5mbar full scale. The sensors carry out digital signal conditioning and attain high accuracies. They provide a digital I²C bus interface and an analogue output signal between 0.5 and 4.5V. The sensors can directly communicate with microcontrollers without the need for additional A/D converters. They use a special compensation technique to achieve high offset stability and virtually no position sensitivity. Along with an optional 3V supply, the sensors are suitable for battery-powered portable or hand-held devices. The sensors can be modified with respect to pressure range, resolution and internal digital settings. They are suitable for applications such as medical devices, instrumentation, environmental controls, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning applications.
