The Veroshield 19inch rack case from Verotec delivers good EMC performance and can be mounted on electronic, electric and electro-mechanical equipment. The rack case is useful for 19inch rack-mounted systems where certain elements of the equipment require elevated levels of EMC capability. The rack case, manufactured using zinc-plated steel, is available in three sizes - 1U high and 265mm deep, 2U and 3U high and 365mm deep. It delivers an attenuation of more than 110dB, which falls linearly to 40dB at 1GHz. A 19inch aluminium front panel, which is placed external to the screened enclosure, is aesthetic when the unit is mounted in a rack or in a desktop case. The rack case features removable top and bottom covers to access internal components. The flat panels can be customised to suit the requirements of specific applications.
