Fischer Elektronik announced that it has started supplying a profiled version of aluminium casings for non-standard PCBs that have a width of 55mm. The profiled version is the latest addition to the company's miniature aluminium casings. The half-shell aluminium profiles are available with integral mounting brackets, which enable the casings to be mounted on walls or ceilings. In the standard version, these casings are available in three different lengths and with two surface finishes. In addition to the standard versions, modified versions of the casings are also available. The modified versions include different mechanical processing operations such as milling and cutouts, surface treatments such as blasting and grinding, and inscriptions using screen printing, under eloxal printing or laser technology.
