Analog Devices has released a low-noise, zero-drift, operational amplifier for instrumentation and medical applications that require precision over time and temperature without system calibration. The ADA4528 amplifier attains an integrated voltage noise of 99nV peak to peak over a frequency of 0.1 to 10Hz and enables 24bit resolution over 150kHz in ADCs. The amplifier provides an offset voltage of 2.5µV maximum and an offset-voltage drift of 0.015µV/˚C max. It has a 140dB gain and a common-mode rejection ratio of 135dB and a power-supply rejection ratio of 130dB, making it suitable for position and pressure sensors, strain gages, and medical instrumentation applications. The amplifier operates from a single-voltage supply ranging from 2.2 to 5.5V from -40 to +125°C. It is available in an eight-lead, mini, small outline package.
