Schaefer's AEP-A3000R series of sign wave inverters provide 3KVA of power in a 1U rack design and is available in input configurations of 24 and 48V DC. The inverter has a built-in automatic bypass switch that allows redundant operation from utility power if the DC supply drops out. All models in the inverter series have protection circuitry and a front panel digital display which indicates low and high input voltage, over-temperature, and overload conditions. The company claims that the inverter's class B EMI compliance minimises interference to other sensitive equipment. An optional simple network management protocol Ethernet interface provides IP network management for the inverters. The design of the inverters makes it suitable for mobile, military and marine applications.
