Omnetics has expanded its Bi-Lobe family of nano miniature connectors by up to 85 positions. The connectors are available in QPL versions of MIL-DTL-32139 and are spaced on 0.64mm centres. These connectors are now available in 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51, 65 and 85 position contact arrangements. Using the company's flex pin, gold plated contact system, the connectors are suitable for mission critical applications where size matters a lot. The connectors are found in handheld optics, unmanned aerial vehicle guidance systems, satellites, and tactical petroleum drilling equipment. They are available in pre-wired harnesses and various PCB terminations including SMT and thru-hole. The connectors can be supplied with EMI shielded backshells, custom cable, retention screws, strain reliefs, and latches.
