Densitron Display Solutions has entered into a partnership with Chi Lin Technology (CLT) to distribute its range of e-paper displays in the UK, France and Italy. The displays are in 2, 2.7, 3inch QVGA and 7.4, 8.1 and 10.2inch formats, with 1.44 and 4.41inch to follow. The low-power displays can be used in energy meters, as they consume power during updates, as well as other industrial applications. The displays can be networked using ZigBee modules for asset management and logistics tracking. The displays also offer good sunlight readability, says the company, despite the zero power consumed when displaying an image.
