AMD has introduced the AMD Radeon E6760 embedded graphics processor, which offers a combination of OpenCL support along with support for six independent displays. The processor has desktop-level 3D graphics and multimedia features such as advanced 3D graphics engine and programmable shader architecture that supports Microsoft DirectX 11 technology for superior graphics rendering. Support for OpenCL provides an interface to access the compute performance /W for general purpose graphics processing unit applications such as ultrasound, radar and video surveillance. Featuring multi-display support with the company's Eyefinity technology, the processor supports HDMI 1.4 stereoscopic video and DisplayPort 1.2 for high link speeds and simplified display connectivity. It can be paired with the company's A-Series accelerated processing units to offer graphics capability and parallel computing power.
