A communication controller from Gopel, the PXI 6161, based on the Series 61 supports MOST150. It can be used to configure the controller according to individual needs. Using PowerPC architecture, the host PC is relieved, freeing bandwidth and enabling CPU-intensive processes to be executed on the card. Based on the latest MOST150 IC INIC OS81110 and the corresponding SpyNIC, the card simulates and streams MOST content. A number of additional functions are integrated into the firmware, for example ring break diagnosis, several trigger inputs and outputs and the functionality for creating a parallel CAN or LIN are implemented. One module is able to be a master, a slave or a spy. Individual and simultaneous MOST networks can be created using several modules in a PXI system.
