Adlink Technology has released the NuPRO-E340 PCI industrial computer manufacturers group 1.3 SHB (system host board) that uses the second generation quad-core Intel core i7 processor at core speeds of up to 3.4GHz. The SHB supports high-speed data transfer interfaces such as USB 3.0 and SATA (serial advanced technology attachment) 6Gbit/s. It is equipped with dual-channel DDR3 1066 and 1333MHz memory up to a maximum of 8Gbyte in two dual in-line memory module slots and is suitable for industrial control and automation applications. The SHB is compatible with the company's ASD series of SATA 6Gbit/s solid-state drive products. It provides a range of storage, I/O, and expansion connectivity, including six COM, 12 USB, and six SATA ports. The SHB has been verified for both 32 and 64bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows XP.
