NXP Semiconductors is shipping 15 devices in the NextPower range of 25 and 30V MOSFETs in its loss free package. The MOSFETs deliver balanced characteristics across six parameters for switching applications, in addition to providing RDS(on) with sub-1mΩ types in both 25 and 30V. The MOSFETs use superjunction technology to optimise the balance between low RDS(on), low Qoss, low Qg(tot) and Qgd. This enables the MOSFETs to obtain good switching performance and decrease losses between output drain and source terminals. Low RDS(on) allows the MOSFETs to provide low I2R losses when used in sync field effect transistor or power OR-ing applications. The MOSFETs offer tolerance to overload and fault conditions. They are suitable for synchronous buck regulators and voltage regulator modules.
