A family of AdvancedMC modules from Schroff incorporates a push-pull handle and is designed for microswitch activation. The modules are compliant with the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group AMC.0 R2.0 RC1.2 specification and feature an integral blue LED with light-pipe for good visual indication of module status during hot-swap. To remove a module from a system, the user is required to press the black button and pull the handle out to unlock the module and extract it. Available with either stainless-steel or aluminium U-shaped front panels, the modules come in single and double, mid- and full-size versions. Filler modules are available in the same range of sizes. All module and filler variants are fully shielded, using lateral and low EMC gasketing and copper-nickel-coated textile cladding.
