Power-One has released the i-PWER LPM (low profile modular) AC/DC power supply series that offers a maximum power of 1500W in a six-slot chassis. The power supply series also supplies 900W of power in a four-slot chassis. They feature an input range of 85 to 264V AC with power factor correction (PFC), one to six outputs depending on the model, and a zero-load operation.
The company claims that the output modules can be fitted into the four or six-slot chassis, and provide customers with exact voltage and current requirements. The power supply series also features a power density of 17.6W/in3. Each output module is adjustable, and offer continuous output coverage in ranges from 2 to 51V. The modules can be connected in series or parallel for high voltages or high currents. The power supply series is suitable for applications in industrial and scientific machines.
