Adlink Technology has released the Matrix MXC-6000 series of fanless embedded expandable computers with the Intel Core i7-620LE 2GHz processor and Intel QM57 chipset. The computers are suitable for calculation-intensive applications, such as machine vision and signal processing. They operate from -10 to +60°C and provide extended functionality from two PCI and PCI Express x4 slots.
The company claims that the computers have a cable-free internal architecture and extended temperature functionality in a rugged and compact package. The computers have vibration tolerance of up to 5Grms and shock resistance up to 50G. They are also compatible with the company's add-on cards. The computers provide an internal USB 2.0 port and allow deployment of license keys and password encryption through a connected USB dongle. They also have an optional easy-to-install fan module that provides additional heat dissipation if needed.
Available I/O connectivity for the computers include VGA and digital visual interface dual display support, 16 isolated DI and DO channels, dual GbE ports, two software-programmable RS-232/422/485 ports, two RS-232 ports, four external USB 2.0 ports and an internal USB 2.0 port.
