The Digilent Cerebot 32MX7 development kit from Microchip features a demonstration board with a 10 and 100 Ethernet interface, and dual CAN and I2C interfaces. It also uses Digilent Pmod peripheral modules and an integrated programming and debugging circuit that is compatible with the company's MPLAB integrated development environment. The development kit is suitable for universities' embedded-systems and communications classes. The PIC32 microcontroller operates at 80MHz and features 512kbytes of flash programme memory and 128kbytes of RAM, as well as a full speed USB on-the-go, host and device controller, Ethernet controller, and dual CAN controllers. The board combines three push buttons, four LEDs, Ethernet, CAN and I2C bus connectors, and six connectors for H-bridges, ADCs, DACs, RF transceivers, speakers, and switches.
