Vishay Intertechnology has introduced an IHLP inductor in the 3232 case size, featuring an 8.18x8.64mm footprint and a 4mm profile. The IHLP-3232DZ-01 inductor offers high efficiency with DCR (DC resistance) down to 1.68mΩ and inductance values from 0.22 to 10µH. With a frequency range up to 5MHz, the inductor serves as a space- and power-saving solution for voltage regulator modules and DC/DC converter applications in mobile devices, notebooks, desktop computers, servers, graphic cards, portable gaming systems, personal navigation systems, personal multimedia devices, and automotive systems. The inductor is also suitable for high-current power supplies and PoL converters, distributed power systems, and FPGAs. The inductor provides a saturation current range from 9 to 34A, a heat rating current range from 5.2 to 30.7A, and maximum DCR from 1.68 to 59.90mΩ. It is packaged in an RoHS-compliant, lead-free shielded, composite construction that decreases buzz noise to low levels. The inductor handles high transient current spikes without hard saturation. It operates from -55 to +125°C and offers resistance to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration.
