Silego Technology has released the GreenPAK designer software that works with the GreenPAK emulation hardware to generate and test GreenPAK circuits. A 2x2mm GreenPAK IC is a mixed-signal logic array that replaces the function of four- and 8bit microcontroller applications or simple discrete mixed-signal logic circuits. The IC's on-board finite state machine, programmable logic, counters, delays, ADC, voltage reference, oscillator, and PWM are suitable for proximity, motion, and temperature sensor interfaces, LED drivers, motor controllers, touch sensing, and over-voltage protection. The design emulation kit is available for either Windows or MAC OS and does not require program coding or compilers to configure the IC. In addition, the hardware is also available with a built-in signal generator.
