Contract electronics manufacturer, HCD, is showcasing its range of services at DSEi 2011. The company describes itself as specialising in fast turn-around and flexible production. It has a policy of continuous investment in new equipment to maintain quality. Aerospace and defence companies are among its customers, with over 80% repeat orders. Originally a PCB design house, the company moved on to contract manufacturing and now also offers fast turnaround bare board manufacture, component procurements, assembly, BGA inspection and rework, cable assemblies and box build. This is the first time the company has exhibited at DSEi, reflecting its increase in business from the aerospace and hi-rel sectors. The company can produce PCBs to IPC 610A-Class 3 and meet the new Def-Stan 61-5 issue 6 regulations issued last year which cover PCBs for military power and protection devices.
