TE Connectivity has introduced a range of touchsystems for retail point-of-sale, countertop product demonstration and customer information systems. The C-Series of touchsystems are available in 19 and 22" in HD widescreen format. They feature an aspect ratio of 16:9 and provide HD interactivity for good POI (point of information) and POS (point of sale) applications. The touchsystems combine versatility, processing power and screen durability with numerous configuration options and multiple form-factors. They offer an expanded selection of touchcomputing options for the development of POS, POI, and point-of-service applications.

The touch systems can be incorporated into many desktop or countertop touch display applications including customer loyalty systems, internet access sites, digital signage and hospitality and home automation applications. They have an array of connectivity ports that allows integration with installation environments.

The company claims that the touchsystems offer three touch product technologies to meet the needs of any environment includingAccuTouch, IntelliTouch Plus, and iTouch. They also offer optional memory and storage configurations, as well as computing power for additional capacity. The touchcomputers are available either without an operating system or with Windows POSReady 2009 or Windows 7 operating systems.
