With a low dropout voltage of 220mV at 1.5A, the AP7362 and AP7363 fixed and adjustable output linear regulators from Diodes reduce power consumption and increase regulated voltage output stability. The regulators' low dropout voltage performance combined with swift transient response to step changes in load make them suitable for energy sensitive microprocessor applications in monitor, printer and set top box products.

The accuracy of both the regulators are tightly maintained irrespective of circuit conditions and vary by ±1.5% at 25ºC and ±3% over the voltage, load and temperature ranges. In shutdown mode, the regulators have a quiescent current of 25nA and boost overall circuit efficiency.
Offering an adjustable output voltage range from 0.6 to 5.0V, the regulators enable a single part number to suit an array of applications by using a two resistor voltage divider. Alternatively, fixed output voltage options of 1, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.5, and 3.3V removes the requirement for the divider and helps in reducing the PCB component count, claims the company.
