AVX has expanded the land-grid array capacitor product offering by including a low inductance two-terminal 0805 package for decoupling applications. Designated the LGC (land-grid array capacitor) series, the capacitor is available with 100% tin and tin lead terminations to provide high-frequency as an eight-terminal IDC (interdigitated capacitor) making it suitable for military and aerospace applications.

The capacitors provide capacitance values of 1.0µF at 6.3V and 2.2µF at 4V in an X5R dielectric formation across an operating temperature range of -55 to 85°C. They are suitable for high speed decoupling of military and aerospace CPUs, graphics processing units, server and networking applications.
