Fujitsu Technology has added another mainboard to the Mini-ITX mainboards series for industrial use. The D3003-S3 is equipped with an AMD A55E controller hub chip set, an AMD T56N dual-core processor, and an internal 24bit dual-channel LVDS. The company says that this allows for operating displays of 12inches and more, at high resolution in HD quality. The mainboard operates from 0 to 60°C in the fields of automation, medical engineering, kiosks, and digital signage. It is suitable for applications with onboard displays to benefit from the performance of a dual-core processor, claims the company. The existing model 3003-S1 supports AMD's low-energy processor FT1 eOntario single-core T44R at 9W. Another existing model D3003-S2 and the latest addition D3003-S3 support AMD FT1 eOntario dual-core T56N at 18W. The CPU is available as an integrated high performance ATI graphics controller supporting VGA, DVI, HDMI, and 24bit dual channel LVDS. The mainboard features a dual GbE LAN connection, serial ATA III RAID, mSATA socket for flash storage, USB 2.0, 8bit GPIO and HD audio onboard, and a 2x RS232 serial port. Additional tools in the mainboard include LVDS settings for adjusting the video BIOS to an LVDS panel, silent fan configuration and CDV Adapt for flashing BIOS parameters without manual adjustment.
