Three versions of MoBL (More Battery Life) asynchronous SRAMs have been released by Cypress. The 128-, 64- and 32Mbit memories have 32-bit bus widths and are designed for telecomms, computers, peripherals, and consumer, medical and military applications, in conjunction with 32bit DSPs, FPGAs and processors. The CY62192ESL (128Mbit), CY62182ESL (64Mbit) and CY62172ESL (32bit) devices offer 32bit I/O configuration with 55ns access time and a wide 1.7V to 5.5V range. The SRAMs are available in a RoHS-compliant 119-BGA package with a footprint of 14x22x2.4mm and are fabricated using the company's 90nm CMOS technology. The company has also begun to develop asynchronous memory products in 65nm technology that it claims will further reduce power consumption and add advanced features including ECC.
