MicroPower Direct has announced the availability of the MPB-05S series open frame, 5W AC/DC power supplies. The seven standard models operate from a universal input of 85 to 264V AC and provide regulated single outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, 18, or 24V DC. Standard features include filtering to EN55022 Class B, input and output isolation of 3,000V AC. The power supplies have a Class II input, IEC61140 and can be used without an earth ground connection. The MTBF calculation per MIL HDBK 217F of the power supplies is over 200kh. All the models are EN60950 and RoHS-compliant. They are available in a 2.16x1.378x0.827inches and operate at 0 to 70°C. They are suitable for control and monitoring systems, industrial automation systems, and board-level power distribution systems.
