Crystek's CVCOT8BE-2700-3400 TO-8 VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) operates from 2700 to 3400MHz and provides frequency control in harsh environments. The VCO features a phase noise of -85dB, relative to the carrier/Hz, at 10kHz offset and linearity. Tuning sensitivity is rated at 120MHz/V. The pulling and pushing are minimised to 25 and 10MHz/V, respectively, and second harmonic suppression is -12dB, relative to the carrier.
The oscillator features a full-functioning VCO in a rugged, hermetically sealed TO-8 package to protect the VCO from moisture, contaminants and other elements. The metal-can construction features gold-plated pins with no internal wire bonds for enhanced signal integrity.
The VCO features a tuning voltage range of 1 to10V, an input voltage of 11V and operate from -40 to +85°C. Maximum current consumption is 60mA and output power is 10dBm.
