Distinguished by the fact that it has a 5kVA inverter with a built-in charger, the Invo inverter/charger has been added to Unipower's range of inverters. Customers can design long-run UPS by specifying the battery capacity to be used. The inverter/charger is suitable for installations that require an integrated system which can connect to the utility provided power and a customer selected battery bank. According to the company, this creates a reliable, expandable and cost-effective UPS system. Features include front-panel programming and display; 90% minimum efficiency; fast 10ms transfer time; three-stage battery charger; 10kVA peak load. Charger power factor is greater than 0.95. The inverter section is rated at 5000VA or 4200W at 220, 230 or 240V AC output, programmable from the front panel. The input voltage is 180 to 270V AC and can also be programmed from the front panel. The system can operate from generator provided power by programming from the front panel, down to 100V AC at start-up. The charger section is rated at 20 and 35A for 48V DC battery voltage and 10 and 15A for 96V DC battery voltage. The battery voltage can be 48 or 96V, depending on customer preference and model selected. Using a typical 100AH battery, the inverter/charger will maintain the full load for 45minutes.
