The CVCO55FLM-0150-0195 from Crystek operates at 150 to 195MHz with a control voltage range of 0.3 to 4.7V. The VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) features a phase noise of -118dBc/Hz, relative to the carrier, at 10kHz offset and has a good linearity. The VCO contains an extra TX modulation port, making it suitable for transmitter applications. The modulation port has a negative slope and a modulation sensitivity of -25kHz/V. The voltage controlled oscillator is available in a 0.5x0.5inch SMD package. Output power is 0dBm, and input voltage is 5V, with a maximum current consumption of 5mA. Pulling and pushing are minimised to 1.5 and 0.5MHz/V, respectively, claims the company. The oscillator's second harmonic suppression is -15dBc, relative to the carrier.
