Future Electronics has launched its newly designed website. It features design changes and software improvements. The new site achieves a number of goals. These include a significant increase in speed with search results returning twice as fast as before. And with the addition of ‘type-ahead', functionality search is now even more intuitive, enabling common technical attribute filtering in one click. "This is a multi-language, multi-currency website that is not only quick and easy to use, it also contains the richest product information in electronics component distribution," explains Rob Birse, corporate vice president for Future Electronics. "Our product detail pages have been developed to ensure our customers are enabled to make a better design decision. Engineers starting new projects can now select development tools by application directly from the homepage, which we hope will increase their awareness of new technical solutions and assist in reducing product development time." Birse added, "We will continue to add and refine this categorisation with the help of the Future Electronics Advanced Engineering team, to further expand our coverage of industrial applications being developed by our customers."
