CUI has added a series of 4:1 input DC/DC converters to its V-Infinity product line, and which provide 10 to 20W output power. They have a 2x1inch footprint and are suitable for battery-driven applications where charging and discharging conditions require a wide input range. The converters operate from -40 to +85°C and are available in 3.3, 5, 12, or 15V DC single output models and ±5, ±12, or ±15V DC dual output models. They accept input voltages of 9 to 36V DC or 18 to 75V DC. Outputs are regulated to within ±0.5% over all line input conditions and ±1% for all load conditions. Single output 15 and 20W models are claimed to offer an output trim that allows adjustment within ±10% of output, while all models include remote on/off. Additional features include short circuit protection, and over-current and over-voltage protection.
