BVM Group has launched the LV-67G, a Mini-ITX motherboard suitable for industrial control and automation, retail PoS and ticketing, gaming, print imaging and digital signage. Based on the Q67 Express chipset, it supports the second-generation Sandy Bridge Intel Core i7, i5, and i3 processors in the LGA1155 socket with up to 16Gbyte of 1333MHz DIMM. Intel Pentium and Xeon processors are also supported. Embedded HD VGA and Realtek ALC888 Codec HD audio are provided with line and MIC inputs. There is also 5.1 and SPDIF outputs for applications where rich audio video is required, says the company. Mass storage is enabled through two 300Mbyte/s SATA II interfaces built in to the Q67 chipset; a further two 600Mbyte/s SATA III interfaces are also supplied. Data security is ensured with support for RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 and Intel Rapid Storage Technology is also supported. External interfaces include two GigaLAN ports, eight USB2.0 ports, a 26pin DVI interface and a programmable 8bit digital IO GPIO interface. A PCI Express x16, a Mini-PCI Express and a Mini-PCI serial port support current and legacy peripherals. An integrated real time clock and watchdog timer are provided and power is derived from an external ATX (advanced technology extended) power supply unit.
