Rohm Semiconductor has launched the BP5277 series of high voltage resistance DC/DC converter modules. The 3pin modules integrate a control circuit, switching element, coil and I/O capacitors. They have maximum 36V input voltage converter modules and feature a conversion ratio of up to 93% and an output voltage accuracy of ±2%. The series of modules is comprised of six output voltage types, 3.3, five, nine, 12, 13, and 15V. A heatsink is mounted on the back of the modules and is combined with a structure that dissipates heat directly from the heating element, eliminating the need for thermal design and enabling a maximum output current of 500mA, says the company. The modules are suitable for power conditioners, gaming devices, office equipment, measurement devices, industrial equipment, and domestic appliances, including gas water heaters, washing machines, refrigerators, and air conditioners.
