Ametek Programmable Power has announced a 3U high single box PV simulator. The PV-simulator-in-a-box leverages the same AMETEK Windows-based software as the turn-key TerraSAS solutions. The single box simulator was designed to bridge the gap from a research and development environment to a production environment, claims the company. The turn-Key solar array simulators are available as single or multi-channel systems from 5kW to 1MW and they operate from 80 to 1500V.
