Crystek's CVCOT8BE-2400-2500 TO-8 VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) operates from 2400 to 2500MHz and provides frequency control in harsh environments. The VCO features a phase noise of -101dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset and linearity. Tuning sensitivity is rated at 55MHz/V. Pulling and pushing are minimised to 11 and 1MHz/V, respectively; second harmonic suppression is -15dB, relative to the carrier.
The CVCOT8BE line features a full-functioning VCO in a rugged, hermetically sealed TO-8 package to protect the VCO from moisture and contaminants. The metal-can construction features gold plated pins with no internal wire bonds for enhanced signal integrity, claims the company.
The VCO features a control voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5V with an input voltage of 5V. The VCO's maximum current consumption is 25mA and output power is 0dBm, and operates from -40 to +85°C.
