Pulse Electronics has introduced its latest vehicular mount antenna for LTE, 3G, 4G, WLAN, and GPS applications. The GPSDM700/2500FFS's frequency bands of 698 to 960, 1710 to 2170, 2300 to 2700, and 1575MHz are available in 88.3mm tall, 105.7mm diameter at base antenna. This antenna is suitable for voice, mobile data, fixed broadband, navigation, asset tracking, fleet management, and 700MHz public safety applications.

The broad 698 to 960 and 1710 to 2170MHz bands have a gain of 3dBi, while 2300 to 2700MHz WLAN band has a gain of 6dBi compared to the standard gain of 2 and 4dBi, says the company. The GPS LNA (low noise amplifier) gain at 3V is 5dBiC/25dB and at 5V is 5dBiC/30dB.

The mount antenna is a rugged, aesthetically pleasing antenna with UV and IP65 protection and is a RoHS-compliant. Separate cables are claimed to create maximum application flexibility. Antennas have three cables to support the different technologies. Wireless voice, data, and LTE frequencies are supported by a single low-loss RG-58 cable. WLAN operates on a separate RG-58 cable, while the GPS antenna has its own RG-174 cable. These direct mount antennas can be mounted through a 19.05mm hole. The antenna mount can accommodate up to 15.88mm thick surface.
