Premo has launched the SDTR1103CAP as part of its 1103 standard antennae, which provides up to 55mV/Apk-pk/m sensitivity. The SMD antenna has "Super-Drop-Test-Resistant" technology for 20 to 150kHz receiver applications. It offers upper and lateral side protection with co-polyamide polyhexamethylene polymer walls, gamma radiated with thermal stability which supports up to 290°C and mechanical resistance of more than 150Mpa. The antenna is equipped with NiZn ferrite core with surface resistivity of more than 10MΩ/mm that provides a stable behaviour rather than -2% over -40 to 125°C. The company offers 2.38, 4.91, 7.2 and 9mH at 125kHz. Other inductance values and frequencies from 340µH to 16mH are available upon request. The antenna's surface mount technology allows for use in the automated process of mounting circuit boards, thus eliminating any manual handling, says the company.
