The OKW has introduced Carrytec range of enclosures. The enclosures measure 222x205x80mm and 270x247x91mm. Each enclosure is a three-part model and consists of a top and a bottom part as well as a handle part made of soft thermoplastic elastomers material. The two standard colours are RAL 9002 which is off-white, made of ABS UL 94 HB for medical and laboratory technology applications, and the colour lava, or NCS S 7502-G, made of PA GV for use in outdoor conditions or for machine control systems. The large recessed control panel on the front is suitable for push buttons, membrane keyboards, displays and touchscreens. The enclosures are watertight up to protection class IP65 with an optional sealing kit. Interfaces for energy supply, mains connections can be installed in three recessed areas. The rectangular operating panels can accommodate the electronics as pre-assembled units in the top and bottom part. For storage purposes, charging or for regular use, the range of accessories of the enclosures include a wall-mounted and a lockable desktop station. The enclosures feature an inclination of 15° which makes the displayed information easy to read even when viewed at distances and angles.
