The control panel features 32 large, configurable keys with LED backlighting. The LEDs are available in one of five colours. Flashing LEDs can prompt operator interaction, for example, or changing colors can indicate the machine status in red, yellow, green, white or blue. Keys not immediately required can be configured at any time, such as when an application is extended, for example. The panel is designed to IP65. There are four fail-safe inputs to which one or two emergency stop buttons can be connected. Two Profinet interfaces allow integration into existing networks without additional hardware components, such as switches.
