CUI has announced the release of a series of 4:1 input DC/DC converters ranging from 10 to 30W housed in a compact chassis mount package. Featuring screw terminal connections, the VYB10W-T, VYB15W-T, VYB20W-T and VYC30W-T are designed for applications including transportation equipment, mobile equipment, and telecomms basestations. The converters operate from -40 to + 85°C. Available in 3.3, five, 12, or 15V DC single output models and ±12 or ±15V DC dual output models, the converters accept input voltages of nine to 36V DC or 18 to 75V DC. All outputs are regulated to within ±0.5% over all line input conditions and ±1.0% for all load conditions and input to output isolation of 1,500V DC is also provided across the range, says the company. Dimensions for the VYB10W-T, VYB15W-T, and VYB20W-T are 55x35x19mm while the VYC30-T measures 67.5x55x19.1mm. Single output 15, 20 and 30W models offer an output trim that allows adjustment within ±10% of nominal output, while all models include remote on and off. Additional features include short circuit, over-current and over-voltage protection for 15, 20 and 30W models. An optional accessory kit is also available for DIN rail mounting.
