Suyin has announced two five- and six-position battery plug-and-sockets, the 1500XX series, with a 1.5mm pitch. The blade contacts feature plug-and-socket mating capabilities between 0 and 90°, thus enabling both vertical and horizontal mating. The blade contacts also feature good electrical properties, such as a contact rating of 30V DC/7A/pin, a contact resistance of 20mΩ, a dielectric insulation strength of 500V for 60s and an insulation resistance of 1000MΩ. Some of the blade contacts can be processed with reflow soldering, and others with wave soldering. The contacts can be used in the rechargeable batteriesuyin in portable and industrial applications.
