AVX has developed a broadband inductor that delivers low insertion loss up through 40GHz. Featuring a pyramid shape and rugged powdered iron core, the GL series broadband inductor provides good return loss and flat frequency response, according to the company. The broadband inductor is suitable for high-speed data communication, optical receiver sub-assembly, trans-impedance amplifiers and high-frequency test equipment manufacturers.
