Aaeon has introduced the HSB-525I, a half-size board with the Intel Atom D525 processor with Intel 82801HM I/O controller hub chipset. The board features an integrated Intel graphics media accelerator 3150 and supports two 204pin DDR3 800MHz small outline, dual in-line memory modules of up to 4Gbyte. For storage devices, the board has three SATA 3Gbyte/s ports, one CompactFlash Type II socket and one ATA100. In terms of I/O ports, the board has five USB2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet connectors, one 18bit single channel LVDS connector, one RS-232, one RS-232, 422, 485 serial port and supports one audio jack with mic-in and line-out. The board needs 12 and 5V power, which helps it to be a standalone SBC, according to the company. The Intel hyper-threading technology enables high performance/W to invigorate the system during multi-tasking settings. The half-size board operates between 0 and 60°C.
