LeCroy claims industry firsts with new additions to its LabMaster 10 Zi oscilloscope range. Four oscilloscope channels, all at silicon-based 36GHz bandwidth (the highest available) and 80GS/s sample rate in a single acquisition module, provide twice the bandwidth density ofcompetitive oscilloscopes. LeCroy's patented Digital Bandwidth Interleave (DBI) technology allows extension of the silicon-based 36GHz bandwidth and 80GS/s sample rate to 60GHz and 160GS/s by combining two 36GHz channels. The 60GHz real-time bandwidth is also an industry first, and is nearly twice the bandwidth rating of competitive 32 and 33GHz oscilloscopes with an equivalent number of channels. LeCroy's proprietary Channel Synctechnology in the scopes permits precise synchronisation of up to twenty silicon-based 36GHz / 80GS/s channels and up to ten 60GHz/160GS/s DBI channels. The oscilloscopes also feature a trigger bandwidth of 30GHz. Jitter Noise Floor is a low 100fsrms for the 50 and 60GHz models. Rise time (20-80%) is 5.5ps for the 60GHz model, and 9.75ps for the 36GHz model. Additionally, a 14.1Gb/s 80-bit serial pattern trigger with support for 8b/10b and 64b/66b symbol triggering and PCI Express Generation 3.0 will be optionally available for LabMaster 10 Zi models. This trigger enables high speed serial data debugging.
