Texas Instruments has introduced the OPAx836 single and dual ADC drivers to its general-purpose, low-power, rail-to-rail output op amps series. The drivers feature power consumption of 1mA/channel and provide bandwidth of 205MHz for low-power successive approximation register and delta-sigma ADCs, such as the ADS7945 and the National ADC128S102. They offer 560V/µs slew rate, total harmonic distortion of 130dBc and noise of 4.6nV/rtHz. The drivers have input-offset voltage of 0.065µV and drift of 1.1mV/°C. For battery-operated consumer electronics, such as cameras, notebooks and cell phones, the OPAx835 drivers are also available. The single-channel OPA836 and OPA835 are housed in a 10pin, 2x2mm WQFN or a 6pin, 3x3mm small outline transistor-23 package. The dual OPA2836 and OPA2835 are housed in a 8pin, 4x5mm SOIC, or a 10pin, 3x3mm mini small outline plastic package, or a 10pin, 2x2mm WQFN.
