Integrated Device Technology has released the 3LG family of CrystalFree CMOS oscillators featuring ±50ppm frequency accuracy and low power consumption for computing, communications, and consumer applications. The oscillators support LVDS, low voltage positive emitter coupled logic, and host-clock signal level standards. They are designed using a standard silicon manufacturing process and are housed in a plastic package. The oscillators generate stable frequencies up to 125MHz and offer high-performance phase jitter of less than 1ps over the frequency offset of 12kHz to 20MHz. In addition, semiconductor-grade shock and vibration resistance increases the lifetime of the oscillators and the low-profile packages conserve valuable board area in compact designs, says the company.
