19pin HDMI connector handles video signals up to 1080p

Fci has developed a 19pin Micro HDMI D-type connector for electronics applications. The connector is suitable for smartphones, digital cameras, laptops and multimedia devices to combine high-definition video and multi-channel audio in one digital interface.

 

According to the company, the connector can handle video signals up to 1080p, providing good HD resolution to handheld devices. They are used for compact audio and video data PCB layout.

 

The connectors are available in a dual-inline-package +SMT legs version with SMT solder tails. The connector has a durability of 5,000 cycles and passive latching technology prevents unintentional cable release, says the company.
